What you need to know before come to the Japan

Plan Before Come

  • Preparation of international student for japan study

  • After the student make decision to study in japan there are the various things to be considered before entering in japan.

  1. Select the Courses:

There are various courses available to study in Japan. If you plan to stay in Japan after your course then you have to be very careful when selecting a course. Before selecting a course you have to do a small research regarding the job demand because if your selected course is in a high-demand area you can easily find a job. There are lots of job opportunities out there in Japan the only thing is you have to choose correctly and study hard.

  2. Language preparation:

Japanese language is an official language and is used widely in Japan. Other languages are hardly spoken in Japan. The student must have tough knowledge of the Japanese language at least up to N4 level before coming to Japan so that they can easily find jobs and survive otherwise life will be a bit harder until you learn the language.

  3. Hostel/ Apartment:

Before arriving in Japan the student must select and confirm the apartment or hostel for the stay. Some schools have dormitories, while some only introduce private accommodations to foreign students. Most of the time the payment should be done before coming to Japan otherwise you have to bring money to pay the rent when you sign the contract with the housing agency. It becomes easy and effective too. The school or university will help you to find a convenient apartment for you. When you select the apartment you have to consider apartment size, Distance to the University or School, whether train stations are near and monthly rent amount, etc.

Perhaps you would like to walk to school or would like to bike to school. However, if the school is located in the business district, commuting on foot or by bicycle is impossible. Because of housing and financial difficulties, many Japanese students and people live far away from school or working place, so they have to spend at least an hour commuting to school and work. It is wise to make the most use of Japan's public transportation system. If you are tired of changing trains, it will be difficult to find a room in Japan. Being a young student, you will soon get used to the complicated transportation system of Japan.

Housing problem in Japan is a very serious matter even for the Japanese. Before you rent a flat, you must consider how much you can afford to rent. The rent varies according to the area, the newness of the building, the facilities, and the size. You should note, on the contractual term, that the payment due date is clearly stated and this is strictly executed. Do not expect that it is not a problem to be late in rent payments.

One room with a kitchen is called 1k (a high-class flat is called a "one-room mansion"), two rooms plus a kitchen with the space for a dining table is called 2DK, with a large space for a dining table is called 2LDK.Most Japanese private flats are unfurnished. So, you will have to provide your own furniture. However, it costs a lot to buy brand new furniture, it is recommended to buy secondhand.
